Biggest Enemy

Bao Bao + Babe

Bao Bao and I would like to take this opportunity to send our greatest and highest gratitude to all our families and friends who have made our wedding wonderful, memorable, magical, and fantastic!

Before this, I had always heard people complaining about how troublesome just to prepare a wedding, how tiring just to have a wedding, how difficult to make a wedding flawless...

To me, I do not need a flawless, most expensive wedding; all I need is to have my family and my best friends around to celebrate this day with us! Even though many of my best friends were unable to show up on my wedding, I have received your warmest wishes.

Not to forget, one of my dearest friends, Maggie, surprised me with videos from some of my friends in the States. Also, special thanks to Mun Yin (from the US) and Dong Hee (from South Korea) came all the way to cheer for me. I love all of you!

Bao Bao & Babe are Husband & Wife~

11-11-11

11-11-11 is a magical number, magical day, magical moment in our lives.

On this day onwards, 11th November 2011, Bao Bao and I are officially Husband and Wife.

Let's remember our vow:
I, Babe, take you, Bao Bao, to be my wedded husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge you my faith.

PS: This is the first time Bao Bao bought me real flowers!!
I LOVE YOU!

Bridal Shop: TOUCH - SUCKS!!!

Please allow me to share my opinion on my Bridal Shop: TOUCH @ Jalan Loke Yew.

If you want to have a happy pre-wedding photoshoot, PLEASE, I beg you NOT to choose TOUCH at Jalan Loke Yew because it will ruin your beautiful day.

a. Totally NOT PROFESSIONAL Photographer
- The photographer was busy "dating" the lady who was supposed to hold my long gown and veil during the photo shooting session.
- Totally no sense of creativity in photography. In fact, I was the one who told him how to take pictures.
- Instead of capturing Bao Bao & my pictures, he took picture of the helper.

b. USELESS Helper
- The lady joining us on the outdoor shooting was suppose to help me with my gown and veil, but she was standing under the shade playing with her phone.
- She did not want to be in the sun at all so I have to hold my long gown all by myself.

c. TERRIBLE Results
- Terribly, we did not even have enough photos to choose for our album because we hated most of the pictures.
- For the table top photo, TOUCH actually cut part of my Bao Bao's head off in order to fit in to the photo frame.

Please allow me to shout "OH MY GOD!!!" I can't believe how TOUCH ruins my day!

Are you a POLICE? - Part 2

This is a continuation of [Are you a POLICE? - Part 1]

You won't believe what happen today! Well, at least I can't believe it.

I was telling my colleagues about my "pulled over experience" last night. With no surprises, most of them said, "I would just give them RM50 and get out of there."

I am glad that I did not give a penny to that so-called POLICE. Guess what I found out today? I met that "POLICE" at my office today. Apparently, he is one of the security guards at my office! In other words, he has no rights to pull me over or fine me.

I am super pissed off! What's wrong with this country? I really need to get out of here before I am transformed into one of them.

Now, everything makes sense to me:
a. That is why he let me go without giving me a big fine because he simply cannot do that.
b. That is why he asked where do I work because he knew if I work in this company, he will be in trouble. I can totally make him jobless.

Are you a POLICE? - Part 1

It was almost ten o'clock at night. I was driving home after my makeup class.
While I was driving, my sister called me all the way from Taiwan; so, I answered the call even though I knew I should not.

Bad move~ Two police drove passed me and pulled me over. Well, in this part of the world, police pulls you over not necessarily giving you a RM300 fine. Instead, he/she is looking into earning extra pocket money (you know what I mean).

Here is the conversation (translated from Malay into English)
Police: Identification Card (IC) and Driver's License.
So, I did as was told.
Police: Where do you work?
Me: Err.. I am a makeup artist.
Police: Do you know what you did wrong?
Me: Yes, I was on the phone while driving.
Police: So, what do you want me to do now?
Me: I have no idea since this is the first time I get pulled over. I didn't want to pick up the phone, but my sis called from Taiwan; so, I have to pick it up in case it is an emergency.
Police: Very well. So, what do you want to do now?
Me: What do you mean? I guess you will issue me a fine?
Police: I ask again, what do you want to do now?
Me: Fine, just fine me. I will not do it again.
Police: Fine, I will let you go this time since this is your first time. Do not repeat your mistake again, ok?
Me: Yes, Sir. Thank you, Sir.

Wao! I guess I am lucky today!
