2012 Valentine's Day

2012, another lonely Valentine's Day for me. Even though I am married, Bao Bao is working in Singapore and I am working in Malacca, Malaysia. Yes, we are almost five hours drive apart. Is a good and bad thing: Lots of freedom for me (GOOD); Lack of attention (BAD).

To make my Valentine's Day worse, Bao Bao ditched me! We are supposed to go on four-couple trip in Siam Reap, Cambodia from 15th till 21st February 2012. Well, Bao Bao cannot take five days annual leave. Knowing me - Travel Freak -, I will not cancel my trip. I will just be on my own envying the other three sweet couples.

Way to go!! Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Chinese New Year 农历新年 2012

2012 is a very different Chinese New Year for me. A lot of first time experiences:

身为人妻，今年的农历新年可是大大的与众不同啊！

1. First time celebrating Chinese New Year with Bao Bao's family 

2. First time celebrating Chinese New Year with Bao Bao as a family

3. First time NOT entitle to receive Ang Bao

4. First time is qualified to give Ang Bao

1. 第一次在宝宝家过新年

2. 第一次以家人的身份和宝宝过新年

3. 第一次没红包收啊！

4. 第一次得派红包啊！

Hmm... I wonder why Chinese has to celebrate Chinese New Year Eve and First Day of Chinese New Year with the husband's family. If I have a choice, I prefer to celebrate this meaningful celebration with my own family in Sarawak. 

为什么妻子得和老公家人共度年除夕和初一？若有选择，我好想和自己的家人度过这个意义重大的节日。

My parents only have daughters. If all of us were married, who will be celebrating Chinese New Year with them in the future? Who will be joining them for Chinese New Year Eve round-table dinner?

我的父母只有我们女儿几个。如果我们都嫁人去了，那，谁来陪他们过年除夕，初一呢？谁来陪他们吃团圆饭呢？那还回是团圆吗？

honeymoon! 密月旅行

Yeah, it is traveling time again! First time going on a vacation with Bao Bao as my husband. So, this is the so-called HONEYMOON trip. 

Bao Bao was in charged of wedding planning and I am in charged of honeymoon planning. I guess that makes us perfect to be together. Hehe...

Our honeymoon destination isn't romantic as most people would do since we are quite tight on budget. Here is the summary of our destination:

Guangzhou - 4th - 5th Jan 2012

Changlong International Circus, Shang Xia Jiu Pedestrian Area, Yuexiu Park

Zhuhai - 5th Jan 2012

Fishing Girl Statue, Lover's Road, Gongbei Underground Shopping Complex

Macau - 6th - 7th Jan 2012

Venetian Macao stay!

Overall, my favorite place is Macau because it gives me a very unique feeling and the food is just yummy~

Oh, please do not miss the Changlong Internation Circus if you happen to be in Guangzhou. Honestly, it is one of the best circus I have ever seen. Definitely worth paying RMB 180/pax for the show. Both thumbs up!

Biggest Enemy 极大的敌人

等待是一种痛苦。可是，人生中却总是少不了＂等＂这一门东西。

最近，在我的生活里又出现了好多的等待。
－等待人事部赶紧把我从RAPID部门掉回来。吉隆坡真的不适合我啊！
－等待机会让我被派到靠近老公的办工室。

这些东西一等就是一两年的事。为什么要如此的浪费我的时间呢？
好希望我可以潇洒的辞职，离开这里。

等待可是我人生中极大的敌人啊！

Before this, I had always heard people complaining about how troublesome just to prepare a wedding, how tiring just to have a wedding, how difficult to make a wedding flawless...
在这之前，我时常都听见许多人埋筹备婚礼好伤感情，婚宴太累人了，要一个完美无暇的婚礼简直是比登天还难。

To me, I do not need a flawless, most expensive wedding; all I need is to have my family and my best friends around to celebrate this day with us! Even though many of my best friends were unable to show up on my wedding, I have received your warmest wishes.
至于我呢，我不需要一个昂贵或完美无暇的婚礼。我只需要最爱我的家人和好友祝福我们，陪伴我度过这么特别的一天。你们的祝福是我最大的满足。

Not to forget, one of my dearest friends, Maggie, surprised me with videos from some of my friends in the States. Also, special thanks to Mun Yin (from the US) and Dong Hee (from South Korea) came all the way to cheer for me. I love all of you!

11-11-11 is a magical number, magical day, magical moment in our lives.

On this day onwards, 11th November 2011, Bao Bao and I are officially Husband and Wife.

Let's remember our vow:
I, Babe, take you, Bao Bao, to be my wedded husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge you my faith.



PS: This is the first time Bao Bao bought me real flowers!!
