Bandung~

To many Malaysians, Bandung is a shopping heaven. Therefore, most of the time, when one visits Bandung, they will just shop, shop, and shop~

Unfortunately, I am not a shopaholic. So, I am organizing a very different 5 days 4 nights Bandung trip for Daddy, Mommy, Bao Bao, Zhen, and myself. What makes it so different? Believe it or not, there is NO "shopping" on my itinerary.

Day 1: Check out Historical Architecture / Buildings in Bundung City
Day 2: Gunung Tangkubang Perahu and Hot Springs

Day 3: Kawah Putih, Situ Patenggang and Ciwidey Tea Plantation
Day 4: Garut - Papandayan Volcanoes, Curong Orok waterfalls and Kawah Kamojang

Day 5: The day we depart. Guess what happen? There was an Air Show at Bandung International Airport. Sadly, there was plan clashed and killed two pilots (http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2012/09/29/two-pilots-die-plane-crash-during-bandung-air-show.html)!!!

For that reason, our flight was delayed from morning till evening~
Guess what again? We actually met a friend at the airport! Gosh, I have to admit the world is too small~ But why I have yet to visit the whole world?

 GOSH! I can't wait for my hair to grow normal again~

Singaporean Permanent Resindence

Teambuilding

I am appointed to be the organizer for my department Teambuilding. Gosh, I am very excited since I love to be the event planner so that I am able to organize something that I enjoy.

Since I am back in Malaysia, I have always missed the adventurous life I had back in the US. So, I am organizing a Teambuilding in Malaysia National Park: Lubuk Tapah, Endau Rompin. That way, I know I am able enjoy waterfalls and hike.

After tabling out the activities (Hiking, Waterfalls, Tubing...), I had finally decided to engage Big Tree Travel and Tour Malaysia (http://www.bigtreetours.com/) to set up the Teambuilding equipment, prepare meals, arrange transportation, accommodation, and hiking tour guide.

I am glad the Teambuilding turned out to be awesome! Big Tree members cook very well~ Yummy!

Well, there is one BIG NO NO on the trip - LEACH!!!!!
The trip could be better if there is no leach during our hike!!!! Leaches freaked out the ladies on the team which made me felt responsible for their mental stress.

Dragon Baby??

Year 2012 is Dragon Year in Chinese Horoscope. In case you have no idea, Chinese is CRAZY to have Dragon babies! So, during Dragon Year, you will see many pregnant Chinese couple. 

Well, here it comes~ People around me keep asking the same question over and over and over again:

When are you going to have Baby? 

It's Dragon Year, are you going to have a Dragon Baby?

What will be the best answer to that question?

Stop asking! 

If you see my belly starts to grow, that means I am pregnant.

Otherwise, will you JUST WAIT?

Everywhere is the SAME

Someone once told me, regardless where you work, you will experience the same issue, same problems, same politics~

I guess that person was right! Since I graduated, I have been in five different departments, experiencing seven different roles in the SAME COMPANY! The pay is attractive, but I either hate my job, hate the stress, hate the office politics, hate the ladies in the office, hate the environment.... (ya, the list goes on~ so much HATES)

Hmm... I wonder why so much "HATE" when it comes to work.

Maybe I AM the problematic one? Maybe THE COMPANY is just problematic? Maybe I should find a new company? Maybe I should just be a housewife and focus on blogging?

My Dream Bag~

Yahoo~ Finally, I received my DREAM BAG from Bao Bao!!!!!!!!!!

We got the bag when we were waiting for our flight to Ho Chi Minh at Singapore Changi International Airport. Gosh! We almost missed our flight to Ho Chi Minh!!


I have always wanted a Burberry Bowling Bag (http://my.burberry.com/store/womens-bags/bowling-bags/); however, I can never save enough money to get myself one. If you know me well enough, YES, I SPEND ALL MY MONEY ON TRAVELING!! 

Well, I never regret it though. Do you want to know why? Because of that, Bao Bao bought me one!! It is always great to receive dream present!! Hehe~

My Best Buddy

I am going to Ho Chi Minh!!!! This is going to be a spontaneous trip!

My best buddy in the States, Sang, is coming back to Ho Chi Minh, Vietname for a short summer break. Thus, he invited Bao Bao and me to visit him since we have not met since I left the States in Aug 2007. Wow, that is like FIVE LONG YEARS!

Check this out! I found super old pictures of Sang and me when I was WILD and he is always the good boy. Gosh! I was so FAT and DARK! Oh no, Sang, I miss you already!!

Without any hesitation, we agreed to fly over to Ho Chi Minh regardless how expensive is the flight ticket. Luckily, Jetstar (http://www.jetstar.com/) offered pretty good deal. So, we managed to get reasonable price for our flights.

Vietnam, here I come~ Sang, I can't wait to meet you soon!

Happy Birthday, Bing~

I have five siblings including myself. I have always felt that I share too little love to one of my sisters, Bing~

Since I am going on a business trip to Langkawi, her birthday (17th April) is approaching, and I just received my HUGE bonus this year!! So, I am sponsoring her a trip to Langkawi~ She is very much delighted and that satisfied my objective.

We stayed in a luxury beach resort - The Andaman, Langkawi (http://www.theandaman.com/) We totally live like Queen (Somboi) and Princess (Bing). Let's check out the interior:

The highlight of the birthday trip apart from enjoying the resort is the Sagway Adventure. Bing totally ROCKS! I sucked at it~ I fell down once; but, Bing Sagways smoothly. I am so envy~

I hope she enjoy her birthday treat. Happy Birthday, my dear sister!

Gigimei 小G

If you break the name up, it is Gigi + Mei:

On 10th March 2012, Bao Bao got his wisdom tooth extracted. Gosh, he was in so much pain! The dentist did a bad job that the wisdom tooth was crashed and the crashed pieces of wisdom tooth still remain in Bao Bao's gum. Terrible experience! If we were to be in the US, we would totally sue the dental clinic. Unfortunately, we are not!

Do I sound off topic? Not really. In Malay, tooth is called Gigi. Now, you see the connection, right?

What about Mei? That is me! Somboi's Chinese name is Mei.

That's right, Xiao G is Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. She is the first Super AMOLED Plus tablet. Looks how classy it is. I am just loving her~ Bao Bao is so jealous seeing me giving all my attention to Xiao G instead of him. hehe~

Still Celebrating?

Bao Bao and I are four months married! But we are still seem like we are dating each other. How sweet~

Today, 2nd March 2012 marks our four-year-loving-each-other! Oh ya, we are still celebrating our Love Journey~

I pray that God will continue to bless us with blissful marriage, teach us to cherish each other, and fall in love to each other over and over again~ I pray that we simply cannot stop loving each other passionately! How sexy~

Bao Bao, I Love You and I want you to know that I feel so lucky to be loved by you! 

Angkor Wat Venture~ Valentine's Day~

Flight tickets were bought almost a year in advance since AirAsia was having a great promotion. Without checking the dates, four couples (including myself) had decided to enjoy couples trip in Siam Reap, Cambodia for Valentine's Day 2012.

When the date approached, Bao Bao ditched me since he needs to spend five days of his annual leave. Very well, that makes me the EXTRA on the couples trip. **Sigh** Another Valentine-less Valentine's Day for me in 2012.

Fortunately / Unfortunately, few weeks before the actual traveling date, a friend (Miss S) from the US is coming to visit me. What a perfect timing! Thus, I invited her to join me on the couples trip.

Angkor Wat is breath taking~ We had a great English speaking tour guide, Mr. Loeun Sambo (loeun_sambo@yahoo.com).
a. We spent three full days enjoying the beauty of Angkor Wat.
b. Spent a day at tranquil Tonle Sap Lake. The place you can truly relax your mind.
c. On an adventurous quad ride, visiting orphanage home. It was indeed a meaningful charity day.
d. Spent a day at Kampung Pluk, the floating village.

However, my trip was also killing me slowly~ It is all because of an incompatible travel companion, Miss S.
a. She snores so LOUD that I could not sleep at all.
b. She sticks to me all the time. If I leave her for a minute, she will complain about me not being hospitality.

Oh Gosh! I know I should be kind to Miss S since she flew all the way from the US. But I guess I am just not kind enough in nature. Oh well, I guess it is time for me to learn the lesson of endurance and patience.

2012 Valentine's Day

2012, another lonely Valentine's Day for me. Even though I am married, Bao Bao is working in Singapore and I am working in Malacca, Malaysia. Yes, we are almost five hours drive apart. Is a good and bad thing: Lots of freedom for me (GOOD); Lack of attention (BAD).

To make my Valentine's Day worse, Bao Bao ditched me! We are supposed to go on four-couple trip in Siam Reap, Cambodia from 15th till 21st February 2012. Well, Bao Bao cannot take five days annual leave. Knowing me - Travel Freak -, I will not cancel my trip. I will just be on my own envying the other three sweet couples.

Way to go!! Happy Valentine's Day!!!
