Hot Pot Night!!!!! 火锅夜

Bao Bao and I are big fans of Hot Pot that we even bought the Hot Pot set so that we can have Hot Pot dinner anytime we want. 

宝宝和我可是火锅的头号粉丝也！我们还特地买了火锅的锅以便方便我们可以随时在家里开个火锅趴。

A random night, totally random! we invited a group of friends over to our place for a Hot Pot dinner. We prepared too much food that we were all too full to walk!

这天我们约了一群朋友来开个火锅之夜。哇！第一次开趴，食物准备得太多了。吃到我们一个个都没办法走路了。太夸张了！

After all, it was a great gathering~

重点是，好开心大家一起来我家做客哦～ 感动无比~

Movie Marathon 电影接力赛

Watching great movies is one of my favorite entertainments. If I have a free day, I cannot spend it on shopping, but I can certainly spend it in the theater. Hehe... I can also spend it in the kitchen. Perhaps I should consider blogging about the yummy stuff from my kitchen next time.
看电影可是我的最佳爱好之一哦。我可以花一整天的时间在电影院里，可是却不可能把时间花在逛街。嘿嘿！喔，我也可以待在厨房一整天哦。哼，看来可以考虑分享一些好吃的食谱哦。

Let's talk about movies that I watched:
这次先谈谈电影吧！

1. Red Ridding Hood
One word, AWESOME! I love how the whole story line keeps me suspended. Totally, I failed to figure out who the werewolf is. The movie is not bloody at all, which is a bonus for me. I am just too old for bloody movie.

2. The Priest
One word, BORING! Totally a waste of time and money. Honestly, I have no idea how the story ends since I did not even finish the movie.

3. Hoodwinked 2
One word, FASCINATING! I am always amazed by animated movie. The story is nicely written to give a twist on the traditional ”Red Ridding Hood” bedtime story. I would definitely recommend this to family with kids. 

4. Super 8
One word, AMAZING! Nothing specific that I love about this movie. I guess I just simply love the story line.  

5. Ice Kacang Puppy Love
One word, SWEET~ This is a very sweet movie about First Love. After watching this movie, you just feel like falling in love all over again.

6. I'm Number Four
One word, COOL~ I love this movie too even though some people might say it is a lame movie. Well, no specific reason, it just suits my taste.

Monster in the House 我家有怪物

OMG, the thing that can scare the hell out of me is freaking lizard!!!

天啊！我最最最最讨厌的东西就是那可恶的壁虎了啦！！！

Why on earth do we need lizard? It gives me goosebumps and nightmares! How can I destroy it, all of them, the whole lizard family?

上帝啊，请你告诉我为什么你一定要创造那门动物-壁虎？啊，我的寒毛都站起来了！壁虎可是我恶梦的开始也！教我要如何勇敢的把他们一个一个的干掉？

HELP! I do not want to be home alone with lizard crawling around and scaring me silently.

神啊，救救我吧！我不想要和壁虎共处一室啊！

The Magic of Tithing 神奇的十一奉献

Year 2011 has been a fruitful year for me, thus far.

2011年可是一个丰收年啊！

Since I left the United States of America, back luck has always been by my side no matter how I ”shuuu” it away. Hmm... Perhaps the ”bad luck” is Satan?

自从回国之后，恶运连篇。无论我如何的把它送走，它都会任路的回来找我。可恶！我想这”恶运”应该叫做撒旦吧！

In the Bible, God always remind His sons and daughters not to test Him, except for Tithe. So, I am going to test Him. Hopefully Satan will leave me once and for all.

上帝在圣经上多次提醒儿女们”不准试探你的神”。可是，上帝准许我们在十一奉献上试探神。那，我就不可气了啦。希望撒旦可以离我远远的。

Finally, I gave up 10% of my salary to God. Guess what are the amazing things happen in my life?

终于，我决定把月薪的十份之一奉献了给上帝。神的奇妙作为在我生命中出现了！

I passed my career assessment (ACD is what they name it) and get promoted! Of course, pay raised! The incement amount is more than what I tithe!

我升级加薪也！加的薪水还比我奉献的十份之一还要多啊！

Wow, the magic of tithing. God promise to give you more than what you ask and he did it again for me.

哇！这下子我怎能叫我不相信上帝对十一奉献的应许呢？好神奇的十一奉献啊！

Why am I here?

It has been four years since I have returned to the land where I belong. Four years, it is a long time. Some say, "time is the cure for the past"; however, I disagree completely. In these four years, I have been missing every single moment that I had in the States. In these four years, I have been wanting to hang out with my best friends in the States. In these four years, I have been trying to accomplish what I had accomplish in the States. In these four years, I realized I still failed to find what I have left behind in the States.

Is this piece of land truly belong to me? If yes, why can't I achieve my goals, my dreams or my wishes?
Am I truly part of this land? If yes, why can't I seek the happiness I had in the States?

Sometimes, I just can't help but wonder "why am I here?"
God, is there a purpose for me to be here? If yes, why am I can't stop missing what I had in the States?
If it is truly your will, please give me the strength to stay, please allow me to find the purpose of staying, please cheer up my spirit, please stop me from asking "why am I here?"....


After four years, deep down in my heart, I am still seeking for the answer - WHY AM I HERE?

It has always been my dream to be a makeup artist. Transforming someone into a pretty angel is a rewarding accomplishment.
我一直以来的梦想就是希望可以成为一名专业的化妆师。把一个人变成美丽的天使是一件多么有成就感的事啊。

However, due to my crazy work schedule, I failed to enroll myself with a professional makeup course. I guess God hears my prayer, I got a change in my job. Yes, to something less stressful and no standby required. So, finally, I have enrolled myself with a professional makeup course at Starbizz Makeup Academy in Malacca Raya (https://www.facebook.com/StarBizzMakeupAcademy)!
可是，因为忙碌的工作，我一直都没机会报名参加化妆课程。上帝听见了我的祷告吧！我的工作不再忙碌了也。所以我马上报名了专业化妆课！

Yeah, a meaningful milestone for Year 2011.
好开心哦！终于在2011年里把自己和梦想拉近了一点点哦。

Atavistic 隔代遗传??

If you could recall, my blood type is completely different from my parents', which concerns my Mom the most! Even till this moment.
如果你还记得，我爸爸妈妈的血型和我的是完全不同。妈妈为了这件事一直担心到今天也！

Today, my Mom called me immediately after she found out my aunt shares the same blood type with mine!
I could feel her excitement and sign of relief.
今天，当妈妈一得知啊姨的血型跟我的是一样的，她就迫不急待的摇了个电话告诉我这对她来说是个天大的好消息。我可以感觉到她终于松了一口气。

Is it called Atavistic?
难道这就是所谓的隔代遗传吗？
